This alien symbiote originally attached itself to Spider-Man, gaining some of his powers. Mac Gargan' formerly the Scorpion, bonded with the creature before joining the Thunderbolts.

Devour

POWER COST    12
Venom grabs his prey and chomps into them, dealing 31 damage. If there are 8 or more Web tiles on the board, Venom gets a mouthful, dealing 2000 damage and destroying all Web tiles.

Level Upgrades:
Level 2: 47 damage.
Level 3: 62 damage.
Level 4: 78 damage.
Level 5: 93 damage.

At Max Level:
Level 5: Deals 825 damage.

Note: The 2000 damage from consuming 8 Web tiles is consistently 2000 up to level 40. This damage starts to scale from level 41, however.

Symbiote Snare

POWER COST    6
Venom sends out his tendrils like a rope. If there are at least 4 Web tiles on the board, stuns the target enemy for 1 turn. The tendrils leave their mark on the battlefield as Venom stalks his prey, adding 1 Web tile to the board.

Level Upgrades:
Level 2: Stuns with at least 3 Web tiles.
Level 3: Stuns with at least 2 Web tiles.
Level 4: Stuns with at least 1 Web tile.
Level 5: Always stuns.

Notes

Symbiote Snare nerfed in July 2016. Originally, at 5 covers it stunned the whole team for 7 AP; at 4 covers it stunned one enemy for 4 AP.
